Title: Switching "Overfull" tutorials
Post by: 2007vce on February 25, 2008, 04:45:25 pm
i have a question about switch a particular timetable with other student
i understand the
Full and Not Full method:
if u are in a subject that is already full and there is a not full alternative time. u can join the not full one and let the person who u are contacting joins it just after u left the subject. and u can get his original time if its not full as well.

but wat if a subject is "overfull" even if i leave the subject, it will still be overfull, then how can i switch with other people? they wont be able to join in..... right?Huh?
so why are there so many emails about changing subject times when all the times for a particular subject is like overfull....

The labels "full" and "overfull" simply mean this:

Full - the class is at 100% capacity
Overfull - the class is beyond 100% capacity

This means that if you leave an overfull class, you will not be able to go back in (because it will be at least full). If you have a full class, then if you leave, it should free a spot. It isn't really relevant to swapping subject times with others. Swapping subject times requires an administrator.
