Hey, what sort of stuff are you into? Motion? Electricity? Energy?  Also, what will your teacher/supervisor let you do? Our class has someone building a trebuchet, someone else is doing rail-gun, others are doing hot-air balloons and I'm making an air-cannon.

Hey, I'm personally into Rocket Science so i guess that ties into motion. Our teacher hasn't really discussed it much either.

Rockets, awesome aren't they? Bottle rockets? Solid fuel rockets? What do you have access to?
If you were to use a bottle rocket, you could try changing the:
  • Payload
  • Volume of water
  • Pressure of water
  • Density of water
  • Shape of bottle
  • Angle launched at
  • Changing the nose cone design
  • Number of wings

Your dependent variable could be measured as the height of the rocket, the force generated or the time of flight. When do you need this done by? End of term 3?
