Deakin also has an arts course which offers psychology as a major study but the enter required is only 77. Whats the difference between doing this and doing the psychology course which has enter of 87? Would this 77 arts course be a decent back-up?

How many majors can you do in an arts course? Could I do Arts and study criminology, psychology and anthropology to the same level within the 3 years?

Both those courses are accredited so the only difference would be the psychology degree would have guaranteed honours while you would need to apply for it if you did the arts degree and possibly the subjects you do. I don't think you can triple major unless you add a extra years to your course, but you might be able to double major plus a minor instead so you study less units/subjects for your minor.

Is that taking into account the trimester set-up at Deakin? You might not know..

Its so hard planning your life when you dont have an ENTER score to build it around...

Generally speaking, it's two majors you can do on the arts degree, although you'll be better off checking the university handbooks to make sure.

Actually, I think you may be able to triple major. It is 144 credit points to graduate and each major is 48 credit points on the same subject. 48 x 3 = 144

However you cannot do extra credits to get extra majors, you can only do 144, the extra ones won't count (and I think may not be covered by HECS either).

Does this vary between unis?

Is a double major a double degree? Do you get a Bachelor or Psych and a Bachelor of Criminology (does that even exist?) or is it Bachelor of Arts (Major in Psych & Criminology)?

What are the contact hours like? Similar for every uni?

I'm not sure how other universities work in terms of credit points, this is only for Monash.

No a double major is not a double degree. You get a Bachelor of Arts. Then you can choose whether or not you tell people what your majors were.

Once youve got your bachelor of arts how do you get your honours in psychology? Whats the diff between honours and masters too? Honours = research, Masters = clinical?

You have to apply for Honours and they'll look at your marks and there's probably an interview and you have to write a statement as well. Honours is an extra year added to your bachelor degree (so you don't get to graduate until you've finished your honours so you'll be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours).

Masters is a postgraduate degree that is done after your undergraduate (your bachelor of arts + honours) degree. Masters can be focused on research or it can be more clinical with placements depending if you want to be a researcher or if you want to practice.

Basically, once you finished your BA in Psychology, they will look at your results in the core 3rd Year Psychology units. You would need to have a average 80% in that set of subjects to be considered entry into Psychology Honours. As far as I understand it, there's no interview process though...

The Masters programmes in Psychology is a combination of clinical placements, further extension of your psychological knowledge in relation to the area of specialisation you've picked (Clinical Psych, Organisational Psych, Health Psych etc...), as well as a thesis (research basically).
