I somehow managed to fluke my way to doing wayyyyy better in english and maths than i thought i would. I thought i'd suck at them. Somehow i managed to pull that out of the hat which i am so happy about!

All in all, i am very happy with these results!!

I'm very pleased with how I went  I exceeded my own expectations by far! It definitely makes all the stress and anxiety over this year well worth it. I hope everyone is happy with their results and good luck for the ATAR tomorrow

I'm really happy! I went to a school that hasn't had a band 6 since 2014, which led me to have incredibly low expectations of my own results. I truly don't think I'd have been as motivated if I hadn't witnessed and taken part in the focused, helpful and kind community here at AN, which is an environment completely different from my own school. Thank y'all endlessly and congrats to everyone else!! :').

I've shared my results but here it is (in the correct thread):

English Advanced: 92
History Extension: 48 (honestly though, I was kinda surprised because I never received this mark in internals lmao)
Mathematics:78 (this is legitimately a miracle considering how I failed in math and the exam was a nightmare)
Modern History: 92
Physics: 73 (again, not very confident in physics so I'm not complaining here- it's not gonna count to my ATAR anyway :/)
SOR: 42

I'm very surprised overall because I thought I was gonna fail (which was why I didn't do a prediction because marks always made me stressed).

But yeah, congrats to everyone else

This is what I'm most annoyed about. Got 91 in the trial and was pretty much expecting a band 6.

Overall I'm really happy and also annoyed, super close to all rounders which is super annoying

I am so happy and surprised with my results:

Advanced English: 84/100
Business Studies: 83/100 (Business was my weakest throughout year 11 and 12 I was so surprised with this mark)
Legal Studies: 84/100
Modern History: 80/100
Society and Culture: 94/100 (Super happy with this!!)
Extension History: 41/50
Studies of Religion: 79/100 ( I knew I wasn't going to do the best in SOR because of scaling but it doesn't matter because it won't count)

I put my scores in the ATAR Notes Calculator for 2017 (because there wasn't the 2018 one) and it gave me a prediction of 91.10 for my ATAR.

Anyone have any ATAR predictions on what I might get based on my marks above?

Congratulations everyone! You all absolutely smashed it (especially pleased to see some really good history results amongst them too!). Every result here is something to be proud of, I know I am of all of you!

But if you are disappointed, I just want to let you know that we understand, and are here for you if you need to vent <3 It always sucks to not reach an expectation or goal, even if we still objectively succeeded by others metrics. From personal experience, marks/atars are a big topic of conversation for the first week or so, and then after that fades into obscurity I have only been asked about my marks ONCE in my 2 years at uni (and the guy who asked got a lot of strange looks). Remember too, that people are more concerned with their own mark than yours - you don't need to feel embarrassed or ashamed, if you think someone is judging you for your marks, it's probably not the case - more likely that they forgot your mark 5 minutes after you told them tbh!

Good luck with ATARs tomorrow! Judging by these results, I'm sure they'll all be great! But again, remember it's just a number - a number that may make it easier to get into a desired uni course sure - but still just a number, that does not determine your true worth or intelligence
