Title: Bachelor of Medicine Application
Post by: Katherinet123 on September 29, 2020, 11:37:52 am
For people applying to James Cook for a Bachelor of Medicine degree, what sort of things did you put down for the question asking to 'provide any other information you believe will support your application'. I was going to leave it blank but thought just to ask first.
Thanks :)

This space is a gift, it's giving you the opportunity to put in anything that might boost your application, and is your final chance to impress the person reading it and confirm that 'Yep! This is definitely someone we want to interview.'. You can talk about volunteering or extra-curricular activities that didn't fit into the previous questions, leadership experience, and link it to JCU's medicine course or how you would contribute to medicine. You shouldn't be leaving this blank, it's your final chance to convince the reader that you're the perfect person for their course. :) Try to fill it out if you can, but don't stress too much if you can't find anything to write in it, as the first 3 questions are most important, but try write something in there if you believe it will increase the value of your application.

All the best.
