Also what is the difference between lymphocytes and leucocytes?

I think leukocytes are the general term for cells of the immune system, whereas lymphocytes are those that are part of the specific immune system such as T and B lymphocytes.

Just to add to this, NK cells are also lymphocytes even though they're not a part of the adaptive immune response (they're innate and non-specific). Leukocyte is the scientific name for white blood cells.  :)

If mast cells are just basophils that are fixed in tissue, then why are they not phagocytic like basophils?  :-\

I'm really starting to dislike the why examiners mark our exams... No wonder half the state does terrible.
They expect us to answer comparatively without reinstating the question... and a time restraint limiting us. -.-

I didn't ask, but they don't like it apparently.

I started around 2 weeks ago, however intensive exam revision will start on Monday for me.
I personally am going to finish off my units 3 & 4 notes, read over them and the book thoroughly - match the study design and then get back to practice exams.
However other subjects (where I need to do the same) limits me haha.

How are you going about exam prep?

You don't lose marks in the exam unless you say something that is wrong or fail to give the answer that they're looking for.

I;m aiming to revise an area of study a night, and hopefully begin practice exams tuesday/wednesday. When you say intensive exam revision do you mean exams on monday?

currently im just going through my notes, rewriting them and then answering check point questions, i've done so much work for each area of study that things just come back to be bit faster, but theres 2 area of studies i just rote learned the whole thing im leaving those AOS until last  :D :D :D :D :D haha

Do we need to know about glucagon, glucose and plasma glucose levels or has this been taken off the study design?

Also does mRNA transcription occur in the nucleus and cytoplasm? Since RNA is found in both locations. Or does transcription strictly occur in the nucleus?

EDIT: I just thought about, since DNA is found in the nucleus (disregarding mitochondrion and chloroplast), it needs to happen there.
