Anyone know anyone that's got decent/better then they're capable of derived exam results?

Cause... I might get hit by a car the morning of the English exam...

It's worth it ;)

Especially if he's only getting "hit by a car," much better than getting hit by a car.

depends.. do you think you did well on your gat? i regret not trying in my gat..
also, I think our teachers are asked to give a prediction of what they think we will get, which is taken into consideration. Would your teacher have given you a good score?
hm i think it would be interesting to see what your DES would be.. although I have a feeling it would generally be lower than what you would get if you sat your exams

Hmmm decisions decisions.

What other excuse could I use to get a derived score? But nothing too extreme so I'll be sweet for the rest of my exams...

Really? Is that for everyone or just for those applying for special consideration?

I'm pretty sure they do that for everyone. They're called vindicative grades. If you're real exam score isn't within 2 letter grades from your vindicative, it gets remarked.

I have no evidence to back myself up, but I suspect they give ultra-crap marks as derived scores.

Yeah...maybe.

Here's an essay I wrote today... Problem is, it took 2 hours, and its still crap.

I had intended it to be much longer, especially last two paragraphs, but I'd already spent waaaayy too long, so I didn't see the point.

But thanks for your feedback.
