The sound of my own voice.

I hate how I sound recorded :P

Hearing the sound of my own recorded voice is enough to make my skin crawl into itself somehow

Does anyone else hear their own voice as being much higher pitched than it actually is? When I talk, it sounds really high to me, but when recorded, it sounds deeper

I have absolutely nothing in the world wrong with your opinion.  :) I think you'll find plenty of people agree with your opinion. I'm just telling you mine.

Yeah, actually. It makes me really self-conscious haha
I hear my voice higher than it really is, but then sometimes on the phone at work there's an echo and I can hear myself, and my voice is, like... deep as heck and I feel like I have to pitch my voice higher, like what I feel in my head, after I hear it!
But what about singing? How is it that when we sing, we're on pitch (well, most of us), but when we talk we hear ourselves 'incorrectly'?
Thoughts are only thoughts.
They are not you. You do belong to yourself,
even when your thoughts don't.

The fact that it took half an hour to write out the answer to a single maths question for my assignment.
Edit: question was completed beforehand but was so long and annoying to rewrite. I have also just lost my pencil.
Edit 2: I forgot the dx.

Have you spoke to your year level coordinator or similar? That's a pretty horrible thing to get told :)

Same. My teacher last week was like the only reason she beat you was because you weren’t trying hard enough. Like I know that already thanks.....
It’s shit but they think it’s motivating  ::)
