When group members go MIA the night an assignment's due and when they finally do respond they're busy...

Edit: and also when there are issues with submitting minutes before the deadline

Ffs my sister really does not need to be watching TV at this time of night, she’s not even really watching it, it’s on the background whilst she does her beading.

My little brothers will be up at 6:30 tomorrow and my mum will get up around 7/7:30 and start washing dishes and complaining at my brothers about whatever they’re doing.

And they wonder why I’m tired all the time ::)

and it’s probably going to happen every day of the holidays, my mum or my sister is always watching TV, and they refuse to turn it down >:(

Have you tried listening to "calming" music like Rain sounds?
I found this helped with making fall asleep.

Also try playing Tetris, Candy Crush and/or Bejeweled 10 minutes before bed with the lowest brightness setting possible on your phone
Try it out for a month and see what happens.

These hopefully help you fall asleep better and not have to rely on your family turning off the TV. They at least close the door for you right? I make my family do that since they are all nightowl unlike me
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

My 16yo sister stirring up the younger siblings when I'm trying to watch youtube videos for my studies. >:(
I asked her nicely to stop, but she won't. Can't wait until she goes back to school

Couldn't help but get triggered over what my AP said about our exams.

Year Coordinator and Curriculum Coordinator: Good luck with studying and make sure to see me if you're overwhelmed.
AP: I won't say good luck because the exams aren't based on luck- they're based on skills.

Maybe my pettiness is coming from the stress. Who knows?

Not knowing the extent of your new uni/ 18 year old freedoms, having your dad say it's ok to crash at A guy's place and then coming home the next morning to a full on roasting about how I shouldn't have crashed at the guy's place....

Having to throw out roast chickens at work because we cooked too many and they didn't all sell. They were $1.80 and people still weren't buying them.  :-\

It's such a waste but there's not much we can do with hot food.

I write a few lines of code and it works.

I add an extra function to the code and then suddenly its original job doesn't work.

The AUD -> USD exchange rate atm!  :'(

And also, the light in my room that randomly turns on/off for several hours at a time, without warning! It's been happening for almost a year (and it's not the globe)... My dad thinks there is something wrong with the transformer  :-[

There’s an entire wing at my school where the lights randomly turn off for a few minutes then turn back on. We say that it’s haunted.

Yeah, that's probably the same with mine! It always seems to turn off when I am in the midst of studying, making my work barely visible in the dim lighting from the other globe.  :'(

The lights in the room I was in kept turning off during my Eng Lang exam. Apparently it had been happening in the other exams too but I didn't notice then?
(Eng Lang was my last exam and I was the only person sitting it)
