When i don't take my own advice. I missed reading a key word in the bio MC question. Ugh. It took me an hour to answer the MC so I was kinda panicking.

Times New Roman font

I find it so hard to read and I have no clue why I had to use it for my assignment.    >:(

It fits the tone of assignments though. No one likes doing them and no likes marking them ;D.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

The entire Biology exam there was a girl sitting near me constantly doing some annoying shit with her shoes, like with her foot pulling the shoe on and off over and over again, making some really irritating noise.
It made it harder for me to focus so in hindsight maybe I should've told the exam supervisors.

All my other assessments were in arial or calibri, which what annoys me haha

Double spacing and times new roman on assessments  (and 2 cm borders).

It stuffs up organisation, wastes paper and is just ugly.

1861 words should take 7 or 8 pages (not 10/11 pages)

How the media is so judgmental about body image and "requires" almost every female to look a certain why: which is almost impossible!
Flat Stomach, tiny thighs, toned arms and perfect makeup. It''s gone to a point where many of my friends and I have been diagnosed with body dysmorphia.  Anyone else feed up with the media?

I like Times New Roman, but it's an inferior version of Garamond.

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

Apparently, it's the quickest font to read, so that's probably the reason why.

Interesting! Do you have any stats on this, by any chance?

Can't remember where I initially read about it, but a quick Google search supplied the following links (click here, here and here). The last of those is the most scientific, but it's a very simple experiment testing various fonts with spacing and time spent reading.

When you have parents that refuses to settle things and force you to resort to lawyers and the police. Even though I didn't intend/knowingly get an intervention order against both my parents (I didn't even know what it was 12 years old), and their reaction hurt at the time, I've come to realise that they did so in the way they did because they never thought that they could 'lose' (can't really think of another word).

All throughout my life the only options they gave me were the lawyers or the police (the lawyers to make me broke and they know I wouldn't go the police anyway).

They were the type of parents that I wouldn't be able to talk about sexual harassment or abuse if I were ever to be in that situation with a stranger, because one of them was an unapologetic perpetrator himself and they other never stood up for me, and suggested that I was a prostitute or slut on multiple occasions.

Seriously I don't understand parents who dares you to fight them in court and only regard you on a legal level.

That's awful :(  It would be extremely draining and frustrating to be forced into a position of internal and external conflict by the people  who are supposed be the ultimate safe haven.
Fortunately with age the power of your parents over your life will decrease, not just legally but also emotionally.

I hope that you find the security, peace, and support you deserve. Best of luck resolving this
