Hey guys,
I was hoping for someone to proofread my year 10 application for MHS in 2020.
If willing, could you just pm me and I'll send you the application. Thanks Heaps.

Hey there! I actually attempted the Year 10 application for MHS but failed miserably. So I don't think I have the qualifications to proofread, however I will just give you some tips! The Year 10 entry is moreover to allow those musically or physically[sports] talented students who are able to perform academically well. Just being smart isn't the main priority [what I learnt]. So in your application or you mean letter? You should try and describe the type of person you are and how you juggle all of these and why you should be let in the school. You have to tell them why they need you and not why you need them. There is an achievement sheet if I remember properly. Make sure you list all of major achievements in there!!
Good luck as this is very competitive from my experience! :)

Hey,
I saw your other post, may I ask why you want to transfer from nossal to mhs?
I attended mhs for a little while (not through PD) so I have a rough idea of what the principal is looking for. I can read over your application if you'd like

Hey,
I'm not so much wanting to move schools from nossal to mhs, but am looking to see how I match up in a competitive environment and how I can improve on aspects of myself from that experience. Thanks for agreeing to read my app., it means a lot.

Hey! I was wondering if you could look at some of my achievements/ activities to see if it will suffice. Can you please tell me if they are the right types of activities and if they will hold any value! Thanks.

LAST YEAR:
Our debating team came 2nd
Participated in Da Vinci Decathlon
4 superiors in VSSE
Distinction in AMC

THIS YEAR:
In Volunteering club, AV club, Nossal Environmental Safety Team
Member at Power House Rowing Club
Play comp tennis where I have won 5 premierships and have come runner-up in 4
Red Cross Volunteering member
Church Volunteer
In the Australian Army Cadets

I'm not sure but I think that is all. Do you think it will hold any value on the application? Thanks

I didn't have MHS as a preference, so I wasn't offered a place.
