 that financial question where you had to find the total interest but only in the second year was weird. Anyone here knew what to do for that?

multiply monthly payment by 12 minus the difference of fv of 1st year and fv of end of second year
=interest earned in second year

it seems that the payment exceeded the amount of interest earnt. therefore the annuity decreases

I completely messed this one up ugh. I got extremely similar to the answer but off by about $20. I don’t think I’ll get the marks because I used a different method than we were supposed to.
The $2800 payment threw me off  :'(

I got 20488.88? I thought you weren’t supposed to round anything during calculations and only round off towards the end

Solid exam. Interesting to see no amortisation table, seeming the state is historically bad at them, same goes for crashing networks.

But we found the payment in the previous question to the nearest dollar? And since it was ii I just assumed we use the information from the previous question... i hate further :(
