Melbourne Uni scholarship acceptance

I got the "access melbourne fee exemption scholarship" from melbourne uni today.
If I accept my course offer and my scholarship offer, can I change to a different course at a different uni if I get a higher preference in a later round? The deadline for acceptance is before the second round offer window.

Additionally, I have been offered monash uni scholarships that have a deadline if the 18th, but it says I can't accept them as I haven't received a first round offer. If I end up getting an offer in the later rounds, can I still accept these scholarships?

Double check the conditions of your scholarship and see if that is transferable across courses/ unis. (Here's a generic Access Melbourne Scholarship link for your convenience.) Usually things like this can be carried across courses within the same university, but can't be taken if you eventually end up studying at a different uni.

Either way, I'd probably accept the scholarship (and the offer), enrol and wait for Round 2. If Round 2 sees you leaving Melbourne and it's not transferable to your new uni, then usually Melbourne will realise this when you go to unenrol from your Round 1 offer and reallocate the scholarship to someone else.

It's unlikely that accepting the scholarship will bar you from future rounds right? That's what I was worried about. It doesn't say anything about this specifically in the terms and conditions. Do you have an answer to my second question?

Sticky situation here. A lot of scholarships require that you be offered a place that the uni in order to accept them. Basically, I think (and I'd probably confirm with the unis by calling or visiting them), you won't be able to accept the Monash scholarships, but you will be able to accept the Melbourne scholarship, seeing as you've been given an offer + scholarship there already (vs. Monash's scholarship only). This shouldn't bar you from any later rounds AFAIK and should act like anyone else. However, if you do receive a course from Monash and they provide you with an offer in Round 2, you'll probably have to take it without scholarship or hope that you receive another scholarship.

As I said though, I'm not 100% sure if this is right, so I'd probably contact the unis and explain your situation. They might have some good advice. Sorry that I'm not so much help here.
