Oh, I thought they were referring to uni cut offs and trying to gauge whether they had a chance. I didn’t know we could see our adjusted ATAR.

You can't see your adjusted ATAR but the uni cut offs are based off adjusted ATAR (ATAR and SEAS/bonus points), so if you have no seas or bonus points then the lowest adjusted atar will be a better indication of whether you'll get into a course.
e.g. the lowest unadjusted ATAR might be 75 and the lowest adjusted ATAR might be 85. If you have no bonus points/SEAS and get a 76 ATAR, you're probably not going to get in because it's 9 points below the lowest selection rank (adjusted ATAR), but if you have SEAS/bonus points then you could get in with that (assuming you had a big enough adjustment).
