How to compose a video on 1984/Metropolis for Children or Parents? (MOD A)

Hi everyone!

A small issue im having recently. Weve been given the task to make a video with context, concepts, characters and values of the two texts 1984 and Metropolis, however our audience can either be primary school students or our parents.

I suck at being original and cant think of anything and have no idea how to make the concepts seem more easier for the audience without seeming like im missing key information.

Any ideas??
