That would be a good start, but judging by this page (http://www.latrobe.edu.au/study/aspire/how-to-apply/are-you-eligible) it would probably need to be a bit more than just one activity for a short duration.

Only way to be sure is to contact La Trobe directly... because no one on ATAR Notes will be able to give you an accurate response, given each applicant is different.

Hi, what if you have done volunteering, but not for a very long time but you've had a big impact? If you've only volunteered for a short period of time, say like 2-3 months, does that mean you have less of a chance of getting in?

Thanks!

I think that would be fine. Any sort of volunteering will go towards that. But again, best to contact La Trobe directly as I do not represent them and would not want to give you incorrect advice.

According to this (http://www.latrobe.edu.au/study/aspire/how-to-apply), you need to submit a 400-word statement describing your activities and your impact.

If you are genuinely interested in studying at La Trobe under the program, apply and give it a shot. The worst that can happen is that you don't get in under Aspire.

Good luck :)
