i got 85/100 for both unit 3 and 4 sacs
i only have 5 people in my class
ranked first is about 91% for the year
im second with 85
third is around 70
fourth is 50% :|
and the fifth i dont even know she never rocks up but i know she got 1.5/30 on a sac haha
safe to say she wont do well

is it still possible for me to get over 40, if i do REALLY well on the exam? i have been studying heaps. i neglected legal all year and generally crammed the morning of my sacs and managed to get 85% so i think i can do well when i actually try.

no offense, but if you could get 85% in your sacs by just cramming in the morning - and judging by your class of only 5, your sacs probably were not that difficult [or perhaps you are just naturally really good at legal/cramming].

Of course you can do really well, just do well in the exam and if your SAC score is "horrible" compared to your exam score, your SAC mark will be changed.

Its a pretty simple formula: Do well in the exam = good SS

Kind of tired of people asking if they can get a good study score if they got x and y on their sacs, the answer is always the same, YES!

I know I am pushing the limits here but say your score looked like this

Unit 3 : 100/100
Unit 4: 98/100

Exam : High A+ (95% - 100%)

What would you be looking at? Would a 50 be within reach?
RAW
2010 : Specialist [43]
2011: Literature [44], Legal Studies [50], Chemistry[42], Physics[45], Economics [50]
ATAR: 99.85

2012: Bachelor of Laws/Commerce @ ANU

hey im averaging around 85% for my sacs at mhs probably just above the average, can any1 give me the magic number out of 70 for 44+... would 63 do the job ??

well you are beating me lol

I dunno really, I mean 90% last year was what you needed for A+, and this year its out of 70, so I personally think the A+ cut off will be around 60-2, but it obviously depends on how hard the exam is.

Um I don't really think 63 is high enough for 44, certainly 40+, if the cut off is 60 then possibly 43-44, but its probably going to be about 62, in which case you are looking at 41-3 IMO.

Hopefully our sacs go up heaps, I mean I think we have 4 really good chances of 48+ ss [from dowlz class alone], and I know that despite having probably an average rank for BM last year, an A on the exam got me 39. So an A+ will certainly get you 40+ IMO, for 44 I think you need to be going for about 64-65, not too sure though :S

God damn I wish my cohort was a strong one.
We're a class a of 11, Im rank 3 in sacs averaging 83/100 for both GA1 and GA2 (didn't really try) - I've been studying for the exam well and am hoping to do really well in it - if I ace the exam, and am rank 1 in the exams (rank 1 in SACs averaged 95/100 both GAs), whats the highest I can get? I'm hoping for 36 raw, but I dont really know what to expect.

if you do well in the exam of course you can get a really high SS regardless of your rank or anything, get above the A+ cutoff and you get 38+
