The articles have been amazing thus far. Would it be possible to do an article on the importance of goal setting and being able to focus on your own (ie. not comparing yourself to the results of others)?  :)

Hey, clarke! Thanks for the feedback - I'm glad you've enjoyed the articles. ;D

That's a great suggestion, and absolutely definitely something that can eventuate. :)

Here are my suggestions that could diversify the articles :)

- Chinese SL/SLA (there is a distinct lack of Chinese resources or activity in the forums!)
- Nailing timing in SACs/exams, especially the 3-hour+ English 3/4 exam
- Something to the likes of "My good friend's birthday party is the night before a huge SAC, what do I do!"

Excitingly, there are several in the works being written by forum members. :D

SPEAKING OF:

Get a load of this wicked article written by our very own strawberries! :D The article is on what it's like to move interstate for uni, which I'm sure will be relevant and useful for a lot of you. :)

P.S. If you're interested in writing an article, jump over to this thread here. :)

I believe some articles on post-school life would be very helpful.
Such as:
-How do taxes work/doing taxes
-Job seeking/resumes/interview tips
-Smart money management
-How to buy a house

School only teach you the resume part.  :P

It's a nice idea but we're an educational forum for primarily high school students. We aren't financial advisors or career counsellors.

IMO it would be better to seek professional guidance in these areas, rather than taking the word of a student.. given most of it would be opinion + outside the scope of AN's purpose :)

If it was more specific (e.g. money management as a uni student), then that could work.

" If it is possible, could you provide some insight into the UMEP? I noticed there was some information on ATARNotes forums, but it would be great to have some information which discusses the practicality, plausibility, travel considerations, et cetera, in greater depth. Thank you!"
