Title: Detailed study: Change of format for exam?
Post by: chid on March 31, 2008, 12:09:46 am
Hi guys,

I heard recently that this year, the Detailed study sections for both Physics Exams will consist solely of multiple choice questions.

Is this actually true?

-Thanks  :)

Multi choice is a great thing. Means you can guess your way through all those hard ambiguous questions. Shame there isn't a lot of multi choice for electronics. =(

No, but that might mean the A+ range will go up because everyone in the state will have a 25% chance of getting the right answer (assuming there are 4 possible answers) for their detailed study, thereby making Physics more competitive.

meh, i'm screwed either way so i'm going to look at the multi choice as something positive. I have really good guessing skills XD

Having too many mc questions mean you have less chances of getting consequential marks.
