Title: Scholarships
Post by: Rosie on April 24, 2008, 07:55:49 pm: As I really want to go to Monash Uni to study Pharmacy, I want to apply for a scholarship but I don't know how.
Can anyone apply for a scholarship?

Applications will open at about the same time as you do your VTAC preferences.
My application was pretty much filling out a form with my name, address and vcaa number, probably if you want to do the equity ones you'd need a tiny bit more detail :P

Can you apply to many unis even though you are offered the scholarship at a uni but you are not going there.

also, when do they inform you whether you got it?

Nah, they're more likely 2 phone u b4 u receive the letter.

Ohhh... I guess it's intense for everyone who wants a scholarship. :P

For the Commonwealth Education Cost Scholarships it says...
Late applications open 16 December 2008 and close 20 February 2009.

Would late applications disadvantage you? Or would they just go by who needs it the most?
And when would you find out?

I just found this... :(

Although scholarship applications close on 31 October 2008, late applications for some scholarships will be accepted from Tuesday 16 December, 2008. Late applications will only be considered if there are scholarships still available.

Disadvantaged :'(
