Inside out

Hey there?
I srly hope I put this shit in the right place lmfao. Mods pls correct my mistakes pls thnx ily.
Welcome to my journal. This is hopefully my dumpster collection of weird shit and hopefullu writing here things I wanna do, will make me do it. I'll start off with an intro so you know a bit about me.
Introduction
Name: tbh my name on the forum is comet striker but its still my cringy 12 yr old internet name. Alucard is my new cringy name so call me either.
Year lvl: 11
Subjects:
Biology 3&4: 100% my fav subject to learn.
Literature 1&2: not gonna lie, I do have fun with this subject but man do I have a lot to improve on
Methods 1&2: Alright. Not struggling yet
Specialists 1&2: I do struggle a bit? but mostly alright
Chemistry 1&2: Chose this bc I dont mind chem. Classes are a lot more fun and sometimes feel I shouldve taken chem instead of bio lol
French 1&2: I try.
Aim/what I want out of this experience
tbh I do want a really good atar like 95 or smth but I do also want to have fun. I feel like when atar's on my mind, Im way too hard on myself when Im studyin and I sorta wanna relax. Like many ppl here have said: you dont need to sacrifice fun times for study. My goal is to find fun in my study. The feeling or illusion of productivity is a fun one to have and I wanna be high on that
What do I want this journal to turn out like?
A shit show. Memes, sadness, drama, tips and advice. I plan to try to post atleast once a week. Im pretty non-social irl and hopefully I'll get over it one of these days lmfao. Also I am pretty big on the memes. Instead of actual VCE shit Imma just post dank memes. Feel free to call me out on any bs I say.
Note: I see you can use emojis on here. Dont do it I really hate when ppl use emojis instead of words especially the lol emoji. Ma god I hate that. Not saying dont use em. But if I see an entire post with cryptic emojis,  >:(

Yo! Yep, you've posted in the right place!

Are you planning to stick with Lit/Methods/Spesh/Chem/French for Year 12?

Nice! I did EngLang and enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. I guess you have a bit of time before you need to decide. :)

And I'm great, thanks for asking! You?

Updates:
Got my bio SAC marks, havent gotten the chance to look at it: 20/30 gonna be honest, I do feel pretty sad about it ): Highest was 23/30 so maybe it isnt that bad? I do feel pretty bad about it. Gotta aim for better in the next SAC. Anyway..thats about all it is for me subject wise.
So I was thinking what could cheer me up so I just got on youtube and listened to renai circulation for a good 4-5 times. That shit makes me forget everything lmfao. Im writing this cause I dont actually remember what to do?
oh btw while someone's reading this... any ideas on my next move for bio?

Honestly, 20/30 sounds like a pretty good result if 23/30 was the top! To an extent, the raw marks themselves don't really matter (as different schools have different SAC difficulties and stuff). It sounds like you did pretty well within your cohort, which is awesome. Nice work! :)

Thnx ma dude <3
Anyway trying to keep this journal alive. Tbh I'm starting to fall into a trap of not doing work. I've recently found a lot of free time and rather than using it well, I keep procrastinating. lol other than that Im alright.
Im curious about something tho. Do you guys watch any stand up comedy? If so, who do you watch? I feel like watching a stand up comedy and thought I'd ask if anybody knows a good one :)

Right right I missed a few days. Not gonna lie sorta just forgot my this lmao.
Updates for my subjects:
Literature: We've been given info on our 2nd SAC.Fun times.
Methods: Got a SAC this week. Trying to squeeze out time to do some prep for it but it might be too late
Spesh: I undertsand shit. I use shit. this shit when u understand is fucking amazing
French: SAC 2 this week as well. Am also trying to squeeze time for it. Conversation skills are hard
Biology: Im trying to also find time to finish up some chapter reviews and finish notes ahead of class time. Sorta doing it?

Lol If u read carefully you see that Im "trying to find time" for stuff
You ever just feel so overwhelmed by the work you have to do, you just go "ye I got time def got time lmao"
Setting goals for myself I found to be one of the best ways to help me study
These goal used to be very broad like "Finish chpt 6" so I'd only be done when I finished the entire chapt. This strat works to an extent but I found that setting smaller goals like "Finish 6.1 review questions" is a lot better motivator. Im really good at allocating time for everything but studying but with this, i am able to assign time since I can estimate the amount of time a task can take.
Anyway I am really sleepy so Imma head out. I'll cya all later

Look, even though he isn't exclusively a stand up comedian, I absolutely love Frenchy . However, his humour is extremely crude and there's a lot of dark humour in there, so it's probably not for everyone. On the other hand, I also enjoy watching Luke Kidgell due to the light hearted nature of his jokes

Right:
Apologies for the lack of updates, I would say I was busy studying hard to get dem marks but really I sort of just forgot lmao.
Anyway, this term hasnt been the best for me? but ye. I want to get through a few things
Subject updates
Lit : I mean, I have improved I think? A hard subject for me to learn but tbf I am getting the hang of this. I just hope 3&4 doesnt go too far from 1&2
Spesh : ya know spesh problems make me feel smart. Wasting 20 mins on a problem u should get in 5 mins is bad sure, but when u get it, your like "damn I am smart". Everyones all smiles and sunshine till the SACs start rolling which shows the face of reality.
Methods : Pretty good. the thing with methods is when I do the SACs I feel I need more practice but when I do the questions it feels as though Im just repeating myself which is... interesting?
French : We had our first oral task and tbf I think Im starting to get how to french. Like I hate to alarm you guys but in a month from now, this post is gonna be all in francais so watch out
Chem : OK
Biology : I think Im doing good. Rn I feel as though signalling molecules is sooo much harder than the rest of the immunity stuff which is also interesting.
Right now onto the other stuff
Journals
During the "limited" times I am on here, I do look at the journal section to see how other people write their stuff.
Two people's journals I like are prolly JadeRhoden and NonMotivation. (Btw NonMotivation ur pretty inspiring :) )
catsnappack's journal is also pretty good I do enjoy reading their journal. Pretty relate able stuff so yeah
TIL
I assume most know about the internet newspaper: Reddit. Was looking through subs the other day and I learnt about the "Monty Hall" problem. So heres something you can try to solve if your bored. I assume most people here already know what it is so.
Quote
Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors: Behind one door is a car; behind the others, goats. You pick a door, say No. 1, and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say No. 3, which has a goat. He then says to you, "Do you want to pick door No. 2?" Is it to your advantage to switch your choice?

Reddit
I do admit to using Reddit a lot. Heres a question:
1. Do you use Reddit?
2. If yes, any fav subreddits?
And yeah thats it for me :)

Lol why is this so relatable?? Like you just described my entire thoughts hahah.

And I enjoy reddit for discussions of my fav shows. Pretty cool journal, enjoying it so far.
