Also what are aesthetic qualities??

Not entirely sure, but I interpreted it as notable 'aesthetic' features in the form. So for Eliot I talked about memorable fragmented Modernist images, unique poetic voice (flaneur/ignavi/magi/etc) and intertextual references.

I think Mod A was something along the lines of "with the two texts you have studied for textual conversations, it can be said that the later text is not original and has less power. To what extent is this true for the texts you have studied?" I can't remember if it was a 'to what extent' or 'evaluate'
:)

Yup mod a was like the latter text is often a shadow of its former

For aesthetic qualities I ended up just talking about the form... like the title of love song + rhapsody and the cyclical form of hollow

Rip who knows honestly

Hey everyone,

Section 1 - Module A Essay:
This essay question ok, you could draw on different elements of writing from both texts

Section 2 - Module B Essay:
This was a good question, I basically said that the 'concerns' in Eliot's poetry are one's of decay, paralysis, stagnation etc. Then reflected in back to the Hollow Men stimulus. For the aesthetic features part of the question, I wrote about Eliot's skilful use of language and language techniques to convey the 'concerns'.

Section 3 - Module C (Creative):
SOO glad that we didn't have to write a reflection, and I just adapted what I had to the question

Overall, I hope everyone went well --> Now we have finished high school English forever! ;D

Good luck for anyone's other exams coming up!

I thought Mod A was pretty good, the question was very adaptable

Mod B was also good, bit of a strange question though, as we had to argue the extract shows specific features/reflects Eliot's concerns?? Rather than talking about Eliot's poems as a whole...

I'm soooo glad Mod C was an imaginative! I honestly don't know what I would've done if it were a discursive haha

you're the third person i've seen who wrote a reflection as well. I wonder how that'll go with marking as in it seems to be kind of common...

doesn't the paper get posted right after the exam is over? I can't remember exactly but it was an excerpt about secrets and how they remain in words ideas and dust.
