I'm with you; I'd like to do as much breadth as possible (:
Trust me, it's the best decision you can make. Two languages. Russian 1-6 and German with a Diploma of Languages. Arts students can't even learn to languages like that, but it's loopholed so Science students can. Enrolled into it successfully and got accepted today.
My degree roles out as BSc in Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Pharmacology with a DipLang in German and Russian if I take up two CAP subjects, and then medicine pre-requisites, for only a 4 year bachelors. It sounds funky at least
Edit: We couldn't think more alike. I wanted to do cool breadth subjects because English was such a different side of me and it's manifested itself into Languages. Breadth are the best, I wish the maximum you could do was 8 subjects so that I could have picked two to replace physics and calculus in first year, which brought me abysmal marks.
