REVISION FOR UNIT3

Going into term 3, i was thinking what was the best way to revise unit 3 content? as unit 4 will go by very quickly and exams are creeping up I've been doing check point related questions topic by topic starting off with the most recent, is there any other effective ways i can revise unit 3 content before unit 4 and as unit 4 commences?

My main concern for Chemistry is exam prep, because in Chemistry i have all my unit 3 notes up to date, our teacher has given us loads of VCAA past exams that contains unit 4 content we haven't fully learnt and is pretty daunting, is doing check points side by side with unit 3 & 4 content the best way to maximize your study scores for  chem, biology { My two science vce subjects} as i have 5 subjects to manage it'll be hard to focus on doing loads of past papers for anyone subject.

PLS HELP!!!

I'm currently also doing chem3/4 so take this with a grain of salt but I would really recommend trying to get ahead in unit 4 chemistry (I've been advised this from people who finished chemistry last year and did pretty well). This is basically because most of unit 4 is easy in terms of understanding (like organic and food chemistry) but there is suddenly a LOT of content requiring memorisation which can become overwhelming near the end so its beneficial to start unit 4 notes now (you can also start to attempt exams earlier).  Doing checkpoint questions should be enough to keep unit 3 content in your head anyway so yea I would say to get ahead in unit 4 :P

Since you study biology you probably already know a bunch of chem unit 4 concepts. The fact that you've already been doing practice questions is also a great sign.

My study advice specific to you in your situation is to breathe. Do something this week that you wouldn't normally do (e.g. take a walk through a park,  set aside time for socialising,  do some (extra) exercise) to protect your wellbeing. It seems like you're pretty stressed and worked up about VCE (which can be an easy headspace to fall into) and taking some time out will make your learning & revision more effective and productive.

Good luck :)
