Things to Collectively Agree Upon

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd start a fun little thread where you can build a case as to why we should all collectively agree upon something of your choosing. Please add your ideas below! Really interested to see what things you think everyone should abide by/agree with and also why people disagree!

I personally wish that we could all agree that if you're walking towards someone and they're walking towards you, that you should always veer to the left. We drive on the left, so the same should work for pathways or in the shops. No more awkward double step, stop and start, jerky movements. If we all agree to go left, everyone is happy!

I'm awkward enough without needing to worry about this haha, so please agree with me on this :)

Very agreed. I aggressively go to the left and force the other person to comply haha.

The possums are planning something. I'm not sure what — but it can't be good

Hey Caleb bark
You seem to have misread the title of this thread - this is for things to agree upon, not to disagree upon.
Feel free to edit your post to fix up your mistake  :)

My thing to collectively agree upon:
'Counting to 20 before a mod posts' is the best thread on AN  ;D

I think you should practice what you preach :P

I think we should collectively agree to not write names on gift bags so they can be reused

100% agree. They scare me. The family I babysit for traps possums from their garden and release them far, far away, and seeing possums in their trap scares the crap out of me! The worst was when I was at LaTrobe really early in the morning and I saw one in a hallways!

Other than Calebark's crazy kiwi comment, I agree with everything else in this thread.

Another thing to agree upon: We really need to hear the next part of J41's joke.

We can all agree that it is difficult to find things that everyone agrees on. Some will be silly and play devil's advocate, some just genuinely won't agree
