So anyway my school is not gonna confirm any of my vce subjects yet, so I won't know until next year. LIKE WTF
I need to get books and study this holiday and so far I got no idea what subjects I am getting, even tho I already picked my subjects.
So what can I do now?

Maybe try talking to the vce coordinator, a teacher, a subject coordinator or the dean? that's what I did when I had problems with my subject choices :)  good luck!

do you not have headstart for vce subjects? mine starts in 2 weeks and I am literally terrified :(

My school hasn't confirmed mine either even though we submitted it in August. On top of that, I want to change out of one of my 3/4's into another one for next year.

I think the best idea is to buy second hand books from older classmates so you don't have to worry about how long shipping takes (especially from Campion). I bought my stuff from a store called Lilydale Books for first hand textbooks. That way, after your subjects are confirmed, you can immediately grab all your resources

Hope that helps

Yeah I have head start and I am freaking out too, cuz getting a head start does not mean you will get that subject at my school. So I am confused in terms of why they would throw me in a class I won't get next year. Oh no I checked with my school already and that is what they said so yeah.

We submitted ours in July and still the school has no idea what they are doing. Yeah I will try to get my hands on some textbooks first just in case. Cuz I don't want to take any risk later on. I want to change my head start specialist math into economics, I did not do well in math recently and I probably won't get specialist math next year anyway even if they let me into that head start.

Chances are they do, they're just probably finalising the timetable for next year before they scream out and say you have x y z subjects.
Realities of backend admin processes that you don't see day-to-day as a student.. :)

Does your school run like a Headstart program for your next year's subjects (ideally starting very soon if not now?) - I am speaking from personal experience here so don't quote me on it, but there is an assumption that you won't have books until next year anyway (unless of course it's english where you have to read over the holidays etc). Booklist dates are usually in the early part of the new year. I know at my school for a subject like maths we print off anything students need in the meantime.

Personally wouldn't be going out and buying anything until your subjects are confirmed.
