NM got some pretty good steals. Another top 10 pick joins us too, along with some fab father-son selections.

Full list of drafted/rookied players: http://www.afl.com.au/draft/draft-tracker

I like the introduction of live pick trading, but i'm not sure i'm that keen on the draft being spread out over 2 days.

The parochial Geelong boy in me is happy to see a falcons player go number one. Apparently a really good kid too, so it's nice to see him do so well.

Carlton seem to have done pretty well out of this draft, but their swap with Adelaide was kind of odd. Really relies on them doing well this year to pay off, otherwise it was a stupid deal imo.

National Draft:

Rookie/pre-season:

Got what we wanted - which is a win imo. Thomas a little earlier than expected, but getting a few later on made up for it.

I used to be really into the U18s and the draft.

Barely even realised it was on this year - and super happy about that, because I think it reflects Melbourne not being utterly terrible haha.
