Hi there :)

I noticed some posts have images inserted in the middle of the text and I was wondering how to do that? I always just attached the image at the bottom but if there was a way to do that then it'll help out heaps especially with the supply and demand graph questions.

Thank you :) :) :)

If you look at the relevant spoiler, the code in question is [img]

But this can't be used by itself. The image has to be uploaded onto a picture hosting website such as imgur, photobucket etc. Some of these need an account.

You take the link (webpage) of the picture, enclose it in the [img] tag, and you're done.

Some things like imgur make it more convenient for you, whereby just copy and pasting the BBC code does it all for you. All you need to do is upload and paste the link and that's it.

When you go to post, among all the buttons, there's a pi button, next to is like a mona lisa button. Click on that.

And this should pop up:

without the spaces

next you enter a link to the pic like:

This is currently a feature that isn't working.  If you go to Profile - Modify Profile - there should be a blue button near the bottom with 'Edit User Details' which would let you change this, but if you click on it it doesn't work.  This is on the developer's to-do list, however :)

We don't change usernames for people, however, if you have a good reason (such as it's revealing private details you wish you hadn't revealed) feel free to PM a national moderator (like myself) or admin and we can change it for you.

Off-topic PS: I like the quote in your personal text - I hadn't really thought of it that way before!  Thanks :)

You sure can! You can go to My Profile, then click on Edit User Details. Or alternatively, use this handy shortcut.

Something I found out recently, if anyone's interested.

The forums are (obviously) split into various sections, including VCE stuff, HSC stuff,

Those words are clickable. If you click them, you can hide the tabs you're not interested in. That will reduce the amount of scrolling you must do to find sections that you're interested in.

Note that the administration section cannot be hidden

Thank you so much for this! Incredibly helpful!
Hey!
I did the HSC last year (2017) and my 10 units were English Advanced, English Extension 1, English Extension 2, Legal Studies, Maths and Studies of Religion 2. I achieved my ATAR aim of over 90!

I loved tutoring and running essay writing workshops (privately and at InFlow Education) so much that I decided to study a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English and minoring in Maths!

If you're thinking about tutoring, let me know x

Hey! Welcome to the forums! You can post your essay right here if it is for HSC Legal Studies - Be sure to read the essay marking rules first (check the link in my signature) ;D
