Hoo boy. My brain's just about fried, got quite a decent chunk to write I think.
I ordered a watch, and it came today, yesssssssssss, it looks so goddamn sick on my wrist and so slick in general. It didn't work properly for the first 10 minutes, then I realised I had to push the little knob in (it was in setting mode) for it to actually work. I bought it off Wish though (LMAO), and I think that it's a worthwhile investment of $8-10. Some of the things on Wish are actually decent (none of the "airpods" or clothing) and decently priced, recommend just a peek maybe.
Watched A-Team (2010) today. It was so boring at the start but it picked up in pace SO MUCH, whew. I can't really talk about movies without spoiling anything, so I'd just give it a solid 7-8/10 and leave it as that.
What I did today:
8:30 ~ 11:30 AM - English ("finishing" off thematic paragraphs)
1 ~ 3 PM - Some Frankenstein, collecting topics
4 ~ 6 PM - Watched some videos on Python, wrote a program but it's broken and doesn't work (L), preparing early fr my uni course i guess
8 ~ 8:30 PM - Finished Methods Exam 1
5-ish hours of VCE. Overall a disappointing day, but I think that the reward is well deserved regarding the culmination of the stress of these damn comparative paragraphs over the pat few days.
English - Wrote 7 thematic paragraphs. Doesn't SOUND like much, but each took 2-3 hours to write on average if I didn't have quotes (tried to make them as concise and comprehensible/coherent as possible), and productivity just dips straight after writing one para. It's insane, but did 2, maybe a bit more, in a day, and got them done. Also cheated this by using paragraphs I wrote previously
, actually saved me like 5-10 hours. Now the hard part is waiting for the tutor to make them 10/10 perfect, and get it back, which the ETA on that is around Saturday afternoon to night. I'll then have to spend 4-5 days until my SAC (next Thursday) rote-learning 1800 words (2200 if I bother finishing the 8th para lole). It's much more manageable than the 2700 words I was expecting, but still a daunting task.
Methods - Did 2013 Exam 1 today, got 38/40. The most UNFORGIVABLE mistakes, but that's just as always :/. Gonna do Exam 2 tomorrow, will update you all on how I do.
SACs - Have a Specialist + Accounting next Wednesday and the aforementioned English next Thursday. I'm honestly not even going to bother studying for spesh/acc, and just grind English. And there's Chem (lmao) in two weeks (lmao), forgot that was even a vce subject
I'm stuck in a dilemma of whether I should do Frankenstein thematic paragraphs as soon as possible, Language Analysis, or devote some more time to Accounting. I guess Acc will shine through past exams later, ENGLISH PRIORITYYYY. Frankenstein might be the best choice tbh, seeing how DRAINING these comparative paragraphs took, and seeing the more layered complexity of Frankenstein and how the themes cannot be limited to comparisons. gowgoebgoebgoer, the silver lining is that I have like 45 topics to work with right now, but no knowledge of the themes. This is going to be quite a task, but I guess it'll keep me busy until
