Today I also officially deactivated my Facebook/Messenger in order to make this extension possible and to reduce distractions, and blocked reddit (God bless Blocksite). I'll also be blocking AN too for the most part so I can't use it as a substitute Facebook I guess ahahahah. Still going to try to post every day or second day based on what I've done (probably English), and any progress I've made (probably not too much).
Big move. I commend you. Hopefully you find it helpful and use your extra time effectively. Best of luck! ;D

Wowee I thought I had a signature with my subjects, maybe it's not visible?

Yeah, but always good to keep those subjects in mind. If you don't understand them next year, then no worries because you probably will understand in Y12 (Complex+Vectors are 100% necessary to have a good grasp of in y11 imo), but you relearn everything in Y12 anyway. Enjoy life I guess for the next year hahaha

Aye, the timed conditions thing is decent. Honestly, the only worries are consistency of high marks (my 79, then 76, 77), and how I can't always get 79 and never got 80, but that shouldn't matter too much ...
When you get into exams, if you're knowledged enough in subjects, then you'll see that high marks are no biggie!

Nah it's there I'm just a confused child
Also wow, deactivating your FB and Reddit? That's amazing! Good luck and your scores are awesome I look up to you XD

Hey
I noticed that you are completely ditching Chem. Have you decided on only focusing on your top 4? I can't remember if you posted about this before lol  :P

Also I was wondering why u did the UCAT (amazing performance tho ;D) if you wanted to do Bsci (maths and comp)? Were you considering med before?

Good luck

Yeahh, I"m only doing top 4. I'm hot garbage at chem, and no matter how I try to fix, or what I do to fix, it won't fix. Honestly, I wish I was superior at Chem then Accounting

Your'e right, I was actually thinking about med (and still a VERY possible pathway for me, if I get 30 chem which should be achievable). However, after "careful" consideration, I've decided against it, it's not my think and I won't be happy.

Haha, thanks to you both, bit painful but it'll be worth it at the end I believe  :D

Hoo boy. My brain's just about fried, got quite a decent chunk to write I think.

I ordered a watch, and it came today, yesssssssssss, it looks so goddamn sick on my wrist and so slick in general. It didn't work properly for the first 10 minutes, then I realised I had to push the little knob in (it was in setting mode) for it to actually work. I bought it off Wish though (LMAO), and I think that it's a worthwhile investment of $8-10. Some of the things on Wish are actually decent (none of the "airpods" or clothing) and decently priced, recommend just a peek maybe.

Watched A-Team (2010) today. It was so boring at the start but it picked up in pace SO MUCH, whew. I can't really talk about movies without spoiling anything, so I'd just give it a solid 7-8/10 and leave it as that.

What I did today:
8:30 ~ 11:30 AM - English ("finishing" off thematic paragraphs)
1 ~ 3 PM - Some Frankenstein, collecting topics
4 ~ 6 PM - Watched some videos on Python, wrote a program but it's broken and doesn't work (L), preparing early fr my uni course i guess
8 ~ 8:30 PM - Finished Methods Exam 1

5-ish hours of VCE. Overall a disappointing day, but I think that the reward is well deserved regarding the culmination of the stress of these damn comparative paragraphs over the pat few days.

English - Wrote 7 thematic paragraphs. Doesn't SOUND like much, but each took 2-3 hours to write on average if I didn't have quotes (tried to make them as concise and comprehensible/coherent as possible), and productivity just dips straight after writing one para. It's insane, but did 2, maybe a bit more, in a day, and got them done. Also cheated this by using paragraphs I wrote previously :o, actually saved me like 5-10 hours. Now the hard part is waiting for the tutor to make them 10/10 perfect, and get it back, which the ETA on that is around Saturday afternoon to night. I'll then have to spend 4-5 days until my SAC (next Thursday) rote-learning 1800 words (2200 if I bother finishing the 8th para lole). It's much more manageable than the 2700 words I was expecting, but still a daunting task.

Methods - Did 2013 Exam 1 today, got 38/40. The most UNFORGIVABLE mistakes, but that's just as always :/. Gonna do Exam 2 tomorrow, will update you all on how I do.

SACs - Have a Specialist + Accounting next Wednesday and the aforementioned English next Thursday. I'm honestly not even going to bother studying for spesh/acc, and just grind English. And there's Chem (lmao) in two weeks (lmao), forgot that was even a vce subject

I'm stuck in a dilemma of whether I should do Frankenstein thematic paragraphs as soon as possible, Language Analysis, or devote some more time to Accounting. I guess Acc will shine through past exams later, ENGLISH PRIORITYYYY. Frankenstein might be the best choice tbh, seeing how DRAINING these comparative paragraphs took, and seeing the more layered complexity of Frankenstein and how the themes cannot be limited to comparisons. gowgoebgoebgoer, the silver lining is that I have like 45 topics to work with right now, but no knowledge of the themes. This is going to be quite a task, but I guess it'll keep me busy until

As someone who hates chem but is aiming for Med, I honestly just want to keep my options open. I guess I want to try med and see if it works out even though I dislike science with quite a passion

Hmm, I'm interested in being a Psychiatrist (for now but I change my mind really often). However, you have to do Med first for that.

I reckon if you do achieve your dream ATAR, then pfffft, any Uni would be happy to swing their doors open for you. You can then choose any you want, easy peasy!

Well, school starts tomorrow. Guess who's not going? Ya boi.

I have been very off the grid for the past few days. It turns out that this "foolproof method" of doing English had a lot of holes in it. No need to fear, I have around or more than 60-70 quotes to memorise by Thursday, equivalent to 1100 words (Jesus Christ.)

Here's a rundown of the following week's schedule.

Wednesday - Specialist SAC. Hoo boy, I did my revision at 3AM this morning (friend was asking me about it), and that's 90% of my effort. Our final SAC is on Statistics (yay). Did a practise SAC today (just to be sure) and fullmarked it, although I'm pretty worried about...
Thursday - English SAC. Here's the Comparative. I reviewed my paragraphs and they aren't as good as I thought they were. As mentioned, I am now memorising a crapton of quotes. My style of analysing was also hot garbage (thanks to a friend pointing it out), so hopefully I have that fixed right now.
Friday - Accounting SAC. Yikes, here's the clincher. Heard it's an easy SAC this time around, but I'm glad it's not on Wednesday like I thought.

These holidays have been incredibly productive for me, and I've achieved a minimum of at least 60 productive hours (non-productive includes me sitting like an idiot at my desk), and although I don't have much to show for it (as it is mostly English), I still have a full 3 days to memorise quotes. That's quite some good progress, I reckon. I feel as if I wrote the Comparative right now, I'd get like, a 7/10 maybe? Definitely can be improved.

Anyone reading this, hopefully you've spent your holidays well too.

Leave no regrets, and here's to the VCE grind.

Next Wednesday - memeistry. Who are you again?

Term 4 is almost over, and I just remembered that I had this journal. These two weeks have been incredibly weird, to say the least...

Specialist SAC 3 - 20/20. A relatively easy SAC, with at least 3-4 other people getting full marks in my class.

Chemistry SAC - 27/30. What a surprise! I'm really trying hard for chem now (it is indeed a worthy 40). Accounting is alright, but it's not as worth as doing chem. However, this means I would have to learn most of the content from scratch, which I believe is necessary if I do want a 40+. There's so much benefit to it, and I really surprised myself with this score. I'm finding the fun in chem, haha

Accounting SAC - Didn't even study for it. It was today, how AWFUL. Everyone found it incredibly difficult to do, and nothing balanced. Ahhhh, accounting is so annoying now.

English SAC - Got a B for a comparative. I knew I worded myself really incoherently though, so that's okay. That's all my sacs gone, I just need to try hard for the end of year I guess.

There's only 2 more weeks until English commences (wow, it only felt like yesterday when there was 70 days left). I got an 8~9/10 for a practise language analysis, which I'm decently surprised with. I have not made much progress (I am a master at food chemistry now though), but slow steps...

Will probably post again in a few days, I'm really tired. Brain's just about had enough, I guess. 25 days and VCE is over. I really do not want any regrets towards the final stretch

English is in less than 6 days, what ?? And what's with this hot weather today... I can barely focus, and I don't even know what I want to write here even though I want to submit something. I guess going over everything I've been doing is customary

SCHOOL - School concluded at the start of this week. We had our valedictory, and everyone parted ways. It still doesn't feel like it's over, 4 years in the best possible environment surrounded by top people, then having to go to Uni next year (which does sound fun). Ahhhh, how sad. Will miss it sorely after VCE I bet.

Maths - I am so worried about Methods. That sounds weird for someone to say, but hear me out. Methods is MUCH harder than Specialist, as with Specialist, there is a narrower and more specific range of questions (and more fun), while with Methods, the "separator" questions that divides the good and bad students are harder (and its more bland). However, I will not worry about Maths until after English is done, duh. Did 2007 Spesh and got 118/120, but apparently the exam was easy, so yikes that I couldn't fullmark it. I am also aiming for premiers in specialist, which is a hard but realistic goal (I believe in myself, at least!!).

Chemistry - Haven't touched for a while, but I want to believe that my Unit 3 (everything excluding Electrolysis), and Food Chemistry knowledge is solid, as I've really revised those. Again, Chemistry is for the week after English...

English - This is it. I have 13 paragraphs (7 for Text Response, 6 for Comparative) that I need to memorise in the next week. I've done 3 Text Response (and can write out 95% perfectly), but the other 10 paragraphs is a bit of a worry. My current plan is doing another TR paragraph today, then doing the rest TR tomorrow, then doing the comparative paragraphs over the weekend, then have at least a TR essay ready for my teacher for Monday. I am confident in that I could achieve a 40+, but that all depends on how I memorise, I guess.

Accounting - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_25z8AoByw

This journal may sound a bit cooked, but to get a number that basically defines your career, determined by exams in a week, as my friend said it, "Going insane would be nice compared to not trying". That doesn't make sense, and I shouldn't even be on here. See you all after English I guess!

Fantastic attitude! You really are so close now. Wishing you all the best over the next little while. ;D

Ahh, I just pray that the past 10 months somehow come to fruition lol. I'm going to have to disagree with you and say that my attitude isn't "fantastic" at all, I'm just another student trying to get by in this cruel system, I guess

Wow, I can't even dream of something that high in chem

Aren't you going for a 99.9+ smhh, that's what I can't dream of
