Title: 10 marker
Post by: nacho on November 12, 2011, 10:20:47 pm
For the ten marker and critically evaluate questions - how many points do you guys raise?
Do you go or 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses, or less than that? It's like you would have to remember all the strengths and weaknesses for everything.
Also generally how long are your responses for the final question? Around two pages or more than that?

Generally with a 10 mark question, i'd be aiming for 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses, but depending on whether i actually know that many or just plain forget, 4 & 4 should be acceptable as long as you go more in depth.
Also, with critically evaluate questions, i'm sure you've got to make a judgement on the issue given.

Is evaluate basically the same as critically evaluate? i haven't been able to find a task works sheet that tells me different.

Im not sure the difference between evaluate and critically evaluate.

I'm just putting my conclusion at the end for either of them.

According to Megan Blake, there's no difference.
