You and your PhB(Hons) powers!

lol yeah it is a very flexible degree. It also helped that I did UMEP

Ahaha, analysis.

I dropped analysis [a subject that required work] today and picked up computational [a subject that requires very little work] =P

ooh PDE's tricky...
I thought we were gonna do the schrodinger equation today but in fact we examined the quantum mechanical wave . Using that we proved the uncertainty principle and studied fourier series approximation to quantum waves xD

No fair!

We didn't get to derive the uncertainty princple but, we were told the kx component relates to the momentum-position uncertainty and ω relates to the energy-time uncertainty.

That function isn't for a localized particle.

The Shrödinger equation is a really cool way of showing conservation of energy in a quantum system.

Tomorrow we look at a particle in a box XD

Oh and Quantum Mechanics + Special relativity is quantum field theory (not until masters level) and the BIG two Quantum Mechanics + General Relavity = ??? (string theory?)

It actually is really interesting, I have done more work for computational in one day compared to R.A. for two weeks.

So far so good, up to date with all my Science subjects, though a little behind in breadth ;D

Have GAMSAT in a week, hope it doesn't slow me down :P

I'm behind too :( I don't get economics.

Is it normal to feel really unmotivated when you get to Uni?

We have study groups where we sit around and analyse a single sub-problem to a problem in an assignment for over an hour. Just 4 of us, 1 problem, hours of thinking. Uni is intense.

GOOD LUCK!

I know someone doing it and he only started revising last week, apparently :P (I don't believe him)
