TAFE VOCATIONAL COURSES (T-VET)
TAFE Colleges and some private colleges run courses that have dual accreditation, i.e. they count towards both the HSC and a nationally accredited certificate course. These courses are generally 2 unit Content Endorsed Courses and usually do not count towards the ATAR.

There are many different courses run as of July 30th, 2019 including:
🌼 Aboriginal Languages
🌼 Ceramics
🌼 Computing Applications
🌼 Exploring Early Childhood
🌼 Marine Studies
🌼 Photography, Video and Digital Imaging
🌼 Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation Studies
🌼 Visual Design
🌼 Work Studies

More information can be found here, Content Endorsed Courses: https://ace.nesa.nsw.edu.au/ace-6011

* Note: Subject to TAFE timetables, students completing T-VET courses while at school will be required to leave early once a week to attend their particular TAFE. Attendance at TAFE is compulsory. There is an additional cost for T-VET courses, approximately $280 per school year.

To be considered for a T-VET course, you need to demonstrate the following:
🌼 the course is an integral part of your study program and it has positive vocational outcomes
🌼 you are committed to regular attendance at the TAFE/private college
🌼 you are committed to completing all course work
🌼 you are prepared to catch up on school work missed

in summary: it's a HSC course studied at TAFE
