VCE ENGLISH & EAL TEXTUAL ANALYSIS THREAD

What is this thread for?
This is where Victorians can bounce ideas off of each other and share their respective understandings of the prescribed texts for English and EAL. Please keep in mind that the links to the discussion contained within this thread link to threads that are used across Australia, meaning that some of what is being discussed in regards to specific assessments may not be relevant. Please use your discretion.

Who can/will answer questions?
Everyone is welcome to contribute; even if you're unsure of yourself, providing different perspectives is incredibly valuable.

Please don't be dissuaded by the fact that you haven't finished Year 12, or didn't score as highly as others, or your advice contradicts something else you've seen on this thread, or whatever; none of this disqualifies you from helping others. And if you're worried you do have some sort of misconception, put it out there and someone else can clarify and modify your understanding!

There'll be a whole bunch of other high-scoring students with their own wealths of wisdom to share with you, so you may even get multiple answers from different people offering their insights - very cool.

links don't work
Hey,
threads haven't been made for all of the texts listed yet, that's why some of them don't have links. If there's a specific text you're looking for then you can request that a thread be made here.

Hi, I'm currently a Year 12 EAL student, and my school is doing Extinction by Hannie Rayson. Could you please add that onto the list? I'd love to contribute my quotes in the future. Thank you!

They all look fine to me which makes me think there could have been an issue with setting up the board that they're in. Does this link work for you? https://atarnotes.com/forum/index.php?board=2766.0

Yeah okay, I'm assuming it's a problem with the board permissions. Looks like it's not visible to everyone, I just assumed it was haha. Bri or one of the other admins should be able to fix it.

Should be all good now,  sorry about that.

@all

Please let me know if it's working or not,  I'm excited to see what can happen with the textual analysis board so I definitely want everyone to be able to access it!
