The most embarrassing moments thread
« on: January 19, 2013, 07:09:30 pm »
So I was thinking about embarrassing moments the other day and thought it could be interesting to start a thread on AN to get fellow AN's to share their embarrassing moments.

I guess with me wanting to hear others, I should say my own. I think mine would have to be a combination of me accidentally playing a note on my trombone during prayer at a whole school assembly or me dancing at a restaurant as a dare and my kind kind friends filming it an uploading it to YouTube. (But I have since convinced them to remove the link).

So what are yours?

wore pajama shorts under my dress on my first day of primary school

yes I was that excited for school that I couldn't even dress myself properly.

*edit*

and asked mum for money since I needed to "pay attention"

also cried when I realised that canteen food wasn't free

On my first day of primary school we were told to get in our house groups... I didn't know what a 'house' was, so I told the teacher that I live in a red house (because the roof was dark red)  :P  I forgot what happened afterwards.

I feel rather stupid.  :-[

Told a girl in year 8 that I really liked her in front of all her friends. That was...embarrassing. needless to say, I was rejected big time.

Thought 'play-lunch' referred to the plastic, inedible pieces of fruit in the corner of the classroom on my first day of primary school.

The time when I mistook a stranger for my mum. As for what happened next...

In primary school I was playing a chase game with my friends on the school over and all of a sudden I ran into a goalpost, needless to say everyone laughed at me (including those who weren't part of the game)

Another westie? Either way, it's highpoint...there are people in a much...much more ghetto state.

In PE i got distracted and we had a bunch of boxer guys from some local boxing gym take us for a few PE lessons. Boys only, we were all in a single line. I got distracted, the guy was acting all badass and military style (he was a pretty big/chubby bloke too) and shouted to someone "Hey Jackie Chan, Run up and down 10 times to me as fast as you can", looking in my direction. I got half way up towards him and he said you dont look like Jackie Chan. Was bewildered for a bit...turns out he was talking to the asian guy next to me. It was an awkward time..

This is the most G-rated embarrassing moments thread I've ever seen.

It's not even borderline-PG. It is safe for anyone from toddlers to grandparents.

This.

As for me, I called my Chem teacher 'mum' once. 'Twas pretty awkward.

In primary school, my brother and I were crossing the road with the assistance of the Lollipop Lady. As we walked passed, she said 'good morning boys'. I thought I looked feminine enough to be a girl.
