do we need to know parallel and co-evolution?
We learnt them, so I guess so?

Is 'artificial selection' just synonymous for 'selective breeding'?

Yes, it is.

Through Wikipedia: Selective breeding (also called artificial selection) is the process by which humans breed other animals and plants for particular traits.

Through a university website: Artificial selection (or selective breeding) describes intentional breeding for certain traits, or combination of traits.

Why can't analogous structures be evidence for evolution?

They are?
Whoops, I mean indicate evolutionary relationships.

Whoops, I mean indicate evolutionary relationships.

Because the structures have different origins (despite having similar functions), therefore they are not related.

is discontinuous variation or continuous variation better in terms of evolution?

Continuous variation creates more phenotypic diversity in a population, therefore it would be better.

Chemology trial papers are terrible. Their solutions and marking schemes are atrocious.

I've noticed that tool the questions are too vague and the answers way too specific. The short-answer questions hardly resemble VCAA style.

What does it mean by evolutionary relationships in terms of conservation of genes?

I've heard that it isn't in the curriculum.

In facilitated diffusion, do carrier proteins aid in the transport of polar molecules and ions across biological membranes, whilst channel proteins purely aid in the transport of onlyions across biological membranes?

When talking about osmosis, would it be okay to use the verb 'diffuse' because the 'osmose' doesn't sound like a correct term.

eg. " water molecules diffuse into the hypertonic solution" vs " water molecules osmose into the hypertonic solution"
