Can I (theoretically) get a 99.95?

Hello! I've been playing around with ATAR calculators, and I've realised that even if I get a raw 50 in every single one of my 6 subjects, I can only achieve an ATAR of 99.90. I'm not sure if this is true or not, as different calculators are showing me different ATARs (some say 99.90, some say 99.95). So I was wondering, with the subjects I am doing, if I get a raw 50 in each one of my subjects, can I achieve an ATAR of 99.95 (using statistics for 2018)? (Or what raw study scores do I need in my specific subjects to achieve an ATAR of 99.95 as of 2018)

Because I'm sure most people who get 99.95 do subjects such as spesh or a language, which often scales well above 50. If only students who do subjects that scale above 50 can get 99.95, then how is this fair at all to students who do subjects that don't scale above 50 and want an ATAR of 99.95?

Since methods scales above 50, you could get a 99.95 if you theoretically achieved a raw 50 in all of your subjects. But please do understand that it is incredibly difficult to do and has only been done by 1-2 super geniuses in the past. I'm not saying you cannot do it, but be realistic or you'll be disappointed in the end :).
2018: Biology [:(]
2019: English [42], Mathematical Methods [30], French [35], Economics [40], Legal Studies [40]
ATAR: 96.30

Yeh looking at your subjects 5/6 don't scale over 50 most years and methods on occasion does scale over 50. So you would hope that you are lucky this year.

I can see how it would definitely be frustrating if someone had a "perfect" year but not have a perfect ATAR just because of subject choice

Ya, this was also the case for me. An unusual quirk of the system.

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

In no way do I want/expect a 99.95, I was merely curious :o. Aiming for much lower realistically haha.

And thanks for your responses Sine and Joseph41, I guess it is an unusual (unfortunate) quirk of the system.
