Hi all, was wondering if anyone knows of a good calculator program for the computer that I can use? Sometimes I forget to bring my calculator home and I'm left with the crappy Windows calculator.

Thanks.

you have several choices,

1. buy commercial product from TI, using basically the same syntax as your calculator, TI-interactive and Derive are both good programs

2. buy commercial products, such as Mathematica

3. download open-source mathematical softwares that are similar to mathematica, such as Sage [http://www.sagemath.org/]
the download is pretty big though, and you need a virtual-machine [if you are on windows]

4. download a calculator emulator,

Lol. Do know that Maple is commercial program, just like Mathematica? It's not free and there's no trial. You have to purchase it (I am ;) )
