Oh, what a tumultuous year it was for Australia…  What a joke it was...

The people that suffered the most was ultimately, you and me (the people that they represent)

January
-   Greg Hunt mentioned that African Gangs are out of control

February
-   Refugees were transferred from Nauru to the US, under a deal with trump
-   Barnaby Joyce and his staffer… ::)

May
-   Four dual citizen MPs resign in wake of High Court ruling, sparking byelections

June
-   Hanson-Young accuses Leyonhjelm of sexist slur during debate on women's safety

July
-   Government bans ABC Journalists from entering Nauru

August
-   A genius of a politician (rolls eyes) thought that it would be smart to invoke the White Australia policy and racially inflame lots of people.  He THOUGHT, that his intention was “not necessarily” to cause outrage but people are “entitled to be outraged if they want to be”.
-   Julie Bishop quits after being back stabbed
-   We had a new PM (Scott Morrison)
-   Tony Abott as Indigenous affairs????

-   The Liberals dump climate policy… cause why not?.....

October
-   Scott Morrison decides to inflame the Indonesians and other countries by moving the embassy for Israel to Jerusalem.
-   Massive rallies over offshore detention
-   It’s Okay to be white motion was nearly approved in parliament.
-   Environment Minister insults former head of state

November
-   Julia Banks quits the Liberal party
-   NZ seeks deal with AUs to resettle refugees (later declined)
-   Craig Kelly planning to quit the Liberal Party

December
-   Our SECOND prime minister for the year, wanted to start a review of the religious discrimination act … and to add protections for religious folk… That seems rather .. urgh… smart…. As some beliefs may impede on the gains in the recent years against homophobia.
-   Scott Morrison MOVES the Australian Embassy to Jerusalem
-   NSW Labour was raided over ICAC donations
-   Nationals MP resigns over a sex scandal….
-   Labour rejected a policy of criminalising gay conversion therapy
-   The data encryption Bill was passed

It seems rather depressing, but good news actually happened  :)
-   Labour vowed to push on abortion and the gender pay gap
-   Same sex marriage laws were passed!

-   The Royal commission into banks and retirement homes

-   My Heath (despite the hurdles)
-   Labour destroyed the Libs in Vic

To a better 2019, I suppose ?  :)

And the absolute highlight of it all, the LNP's non-denominational Facebook post from today.

Just incredible.

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.
