Hey guys! This community looks amazing - This is my first post so hopefully I'm doing this right!

1. Fifth year university, studying advanced Signal Processing subjects primarily
2. Hugo. Worst thing I've ever seen.
3. Accessible education.

1. What year level are you in right now, and what are your subjects? (Mandatory)

I'm currently in Year 10! The subjects I'm doing are English, Maths, Literature, Psychology, Photography, and HHD Units 1 and 2.

2. What movie do you most passionately hate? Provide justification. (Mandatory)

this took quite a while of thinking..... my response has to be 2017's The Mummy, starring good ol' Tom Cruise. my dad was pretty hype for it, and all I'd hear all day was how much he wanted to see it. once we finally got around to watching it, we discovered that it was pretty boring and kinda shitty. to quote one review I saw online, it "should've been kept under wraps."

3. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice? (Mandatory).

you know how many bloody times I've thought of this? too many to count. if we're talking major scale, i'm rolling out in a big spiked tank. but on the more hands-on, i'd pick either a flamethrower (very until dawn-esque) ooorrrrrrr if i'm up to it, a big machete for some melee action.

4. Who do you want to be as a person, what do you want to achieve? (Optional)

I feel like saving the world, and being a great, wonderful person who goes down in the history books is unrealistic, at least, for most people. my hopes as a person would be to try my hardest to be kinder, more thankful, and make sure that my circle is full of good-hearted supportive people. I definitely want to achieve a lot in my life, academically, occupationally, and personally. I want to go to UniMelb and study psychology and then law, I want to work as a lawyer, maybe prosecutor, (i don't really know yet tbh), and I want to meet many diverse people, to cherish and make beautiful memories with. kind of speaking it into existence here lmao.

so, this is my, sort of, orientation to atar notes, huh? lets make these next three years, and the six or so years after that, the best years to come!

Hi, this is my first post on the forums after browsing through it mindlessly for, like, so long! I finally found the courage to post so:

1. What year level are you in right now, and what are your subjects? (Mandatory)
I'm in Year 10 and I'm not really doing any VCE subjects at the moment but I'll list the ones I want to do for now:
Methods, Specialist, English Language, Chemistry, Accounting, and Psychology

2. What movie do you most passionately hate? Provide justification. (Mandatory)
I honestly don't really have a movie I hate but I avoid watching the Percy Jackson movies if I can (they butchered the book series which I used to lovee)

3. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice? (Mandatory).
ooooh I've always wanted an excuse to learn how to use different swords and daggers so I would probably just end up using medieval weapons like swords and daggers (...and get killed straight away)

4. Who do you want to be as a person, what do you want to achieve? (Optional)
I want to be happy and make other people happy, and I want to be proud of my decisions in the future. In terms of career I want to be an Actuary and graduate from Melbourne Uni.

5. If you had to summarise your life in a paragraph, what would you say? (Optional).
I have a great family and academic life but my social life was really bad last year and it's healing slowly. Darks times man dark times...
I do have really good friends though but just not many (i really don't mind hehe)

It's cool to finally pluck up the courage and post something on the forums because I've been putting this off for AGES! i definitely want to help a lot of people later in my schooling and I look forward to getting to know all of you guys!

I agree with the butchering of the Percy Jackson series. Movie makers tend to do that a lot with any adaptions they make, but this one's high on my makes-me-mad list haha!

I want to be an actuary because it's quite mathematical and I have a huge passion in maths. I also love humanities subjects like economics, and accounting seems pretty fun so actuarial studies seems like a combination of all of those

i just want to be happy. some say happiness is unattainable but i think you can, maybe not pure happiness all the time, but live a life that you are content with surrounded by people you love and people who love you back

Hi everyone! Gosh posting on a forum is a bizarre occurrence for a self-proclaimed technophobe... But here goes nothing!

I'm in year 13 this year (lol) because I graduated from year 12 last year! I'm currently taking a gap year, because I am terrified of uni and of losing my childhood (#peterpan). I completed Latin, Psychology, Revs, English Language, Lit, Philosophy and Outdoor Ed across my VCE

2. What movie do you most passionately hate? Provide justification. (Mandatory)
Funnily enough, amongst my friends I'm actually known for not hating films, so this is a tricky question... maybe anything with Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler in it? The only exception to this is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and the Truman Show, but otherwise ew what is Dumb and Dumber??

3. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice? (Mandatory).
A single can of Heinz Baked Beans, because then I can throw it at zombies' heads, but also retain the beans inside for sustenance (ingenious I know)

4. Who do you want to be as a person, what do you want to achieve? (Optional)
As a person, I want to be happy, and also proud of myself and my achievements. In an ideal world, I want to receive both a Nobel Peace Prize and an Oscar for Best Actress, however more realistically, I would love to find myself in a job that I look forward to, and that I find interesting and exciting every day!
