Discovery related text question

Heyyy,
Just a quick question. If a novel is a prescribed text for the new syllabus that applies from the 2018 hsc can i still use it as my related text for this year's hsc?

I'm sure you mean the 2019 HSC? But to answer your question, yes. In fact, you're allowed to use a prescribed from another module as your related (it's just not recommended).

Also, with finding a related text that actually intrests you as something that personally is interesting for you will be much easier to write about. You should only turn to things like the modules texts as a last rest. As opengangs said, its not highly recommended to do.

Thanks! I wasn't looking through the modules text. I came across a novel (All the Light We Cannot See) and was researching about it when I found out that it was prescribed for the new syllabus. 😀
