A TART Journal

Hehehe. A "tart" journal? As in the taste? Oh just shut up.

I thought I'd create this thread to share some interesting/funny things that have happened during my VCE journey.

To begin:

This was from my quote thread:
"Never eat sexy... oh dear..." ~Physics teacher
(Basically, he was trying to name the 4 directions (North east blah blah), and he mixed two different acrostics (Never eat soggy wheatbix and Never entertain sexy women).

Today, I had a vector test/SAC for Specialist and this is what happened...

Spesh Teacher: "This is a test test, not a SAC SAC."

*A few minutes after we start our "test", she goes to yell at the students wandering outside our classroom (which is the student kitchen for some reason)*

Spesh Teacher: "Shhh. They're doing a SAC!!!"

*Fear strikes the whole class*

I was trying to forward an email today to my friends to notify them of the upcoming lectures, and I accidently replied to the email instead. Then I bumped into Brenden. The rumours are true. He is Big Brother.

Today:
I recieved the results from the previous Spesh "test" and I was pretty happy (I only lost 1 mark for not simplifying some unit vector). When my teacher handed out she said, "I have your SAC results!".

I have another Spesh SAC tomorrow on Statics which I'm pretty confindent about. I also started my SAC on trig for Methods and it wasn't what I expected (in a good way). They weren't awfully hard questions but the quantity was a bit overwhelming (I have like 4 questions left with another hour tomorrow for it so I guess I'll be fine).

Nothing really interesting happened this week.

I've been quite inactive in the past few weeks. I really don't know why but during those weeks i really felt more productive (sorry AN).

Interesting things:

1. So I was at parent teacher interviews and this awkward thing happened. This is an over generalised summary of what happened:

Chem Teacher talking to my mum with my methods teacher right next door (like 50cm apart with no walls) :
"ATART puts a lot of effort into his work. He pays attention to detail... and it's evident in his SAC marks which was 100%."

And my methods teacher looked triggered after hearing that statement. She gazed at me and joined in the conversation,

Methods teacher: "Attention to detail? He's turned a 1 into a 2, then a 2 into a 12 in his exams! (as in when i do my calculations, i copy the wrong numbers from one line to the next) HE NEEDS ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN MATHS. It's what separates him from good marks to perfect."

And then all of a sudden all my other teachers start homing in on me. My physics teacher was like "Remember when you didn't convert miliamps to amps and that separated you from full marks?. My spesh teacher was like "He gets the right answers, but he doesn't copy them correctly!".

Then it just turned into one massive interview which the teachers then somehow went on to talk about when I'm getting my learner's.

2. Totally out of context quote from spesh teacher: "I have solutions to everything"
Context: She was bragging about how the textbook doesn't provide worked solutions and that she has written some herself.

3. Our school has opened a cafe ran by the VCALs and it's quite nice.

4.Our spesh class with will gain a student next year and our chem class with loose like 4. How ironic.

(These mistakes were totally on purpose, like... I'm not clumsy at all.)

Ahh, the i too enjoy teachers coming in and disputing what one teacher says about me.

Also is it really a wonder that when you take a break from AN, you "suddenly" become productive ;)
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.
