Research Methods Practice qns.?!?!

Hey peeps,
I've finished going over the research methods based on the study design, so should I be doing the research methods section from the past study design's vcaa papers from unit 4?
Or are those completely irrelevant?
Because I saw all these other things that weren't on the study design... so what do I do??
