I presume there is a strong correlation between MUEP jap and math ability?  ::) ::)

Dc- This has been bothering me for a while, how is it that your BSc is 2 years? Is it possible through pure maths major?

Yeah in science, maths is one of the very few majors you can complete in 2 years because most other subjects have a specific sequence of subjects you have to follow. I don't think there are many others, if at all, in science.

Honours and then into a PhD. I emailed the guy I was super keen on working with yesterday and regretfully declined, which was a shame because the project was really quite interesting (and WEHI give you $5000 lol). So yeah, I figure I'll start the MD and if I really don't like it then the transition to research is easier than the transition from research into med.

I see, fair enough. I'm going to miss maths too :P

haha, i'll let him fill in he details but in short: lots and lots of overloading and the fact that he did UMEP jap

Actually it was MUEP jap :P At least I think it was, the monash one.

Can u list out the subject you took, because that is amazing doing science for two years then getting into melb md.

So if a subject disappears off the study plan it means the results have been uploaded? One subject has disappeared from mine but there's no result!!

Subjects shouldn't be disappearing from your study plan, that would be really bad. If you mean the LMS, then yeah it usually means results are out. Maybe just wait a bit?

Same thing happened to me, then it randomly came back.  Portal is useless...

Last year, the first year bio results came out at around this time, so expecting them very soon.  Probably on Friday.

Results usually come out on the study plan before anywhere else so make sure to check there if you think results may be out!
