Barely did anything in the last week or so and panic mode is back on. School for me starts on the 30th Jan and so I got under 2 weeks to get everything all sorted out. Anyone got any tips for me?

Hi Stormbreaker! I'm a fellow '21 student so I don't really have much advice to offer, but I just wanted to say don't worry about not taking on too much right now. After doing a 3/4 for the first time, you definitely deserve a rest, especially so you can be at your best when school starts! Even the most high achieving, smart people I know don't always meet every deadline, and it's a definite struggle for everyone. Take it easy, and I look forward to seeing your future entries :)

I think the main thing now is to start working on it, even if you don't get through it as quickly as you'd like initially. If it's too overwhelming it might be worth making small to do lists with tasks you can easily start.

Sorry guys year 12 has been pretty busy, I got my first SACS legit this month. The year barely started so far I have been coping well at least for now. English I got a bit of homework to do, further math there is actually a lot of homework despite it being an "easy" subject, economics seems fine for now (I plan to go crazy with practice exams soon), Biology is fine too and chemistry oh dear it is one of the most hardest subjects I had ever come across. Nothing much else to say since it has only been 1 week in.

Remote learning again but the good thing is I am doing better this year than at the same time last year. Last year was a disaster, luckily I leant from my mistakes. Typical year 12 getting busy again my homework includes:
Economics: Finish off supply questions.
English: Finish a character profile (our school is doing Station Eleven).
Further math: From the Cambridge textbook finish a few exercises from chapter 2 and do a couple from chapter 3 (OUCH!). Falling behind again basically
Chemistry: Heinemann textbook finish off chapter 2.
Biology: Edrolo chapters 4a,4b and 4c.
TL;DR
-SAVE ME!!!!!!

Hey Stormbreaker-X,

Great to hear you're learning from your online learning experience last year. That sounds like a lot of homework, but year 12 is year 12 after all. On the topic of homework, may I ask how you are recording the homework you have? My school stopped giving out diaries a while back so I've been trying to find out how people are recording their homework to try peer pressure myself into actually recording it to haha

I normally just remember the amount of homework that I have, I am pretty lazy and don't write it in my dairy.

YOOOOO what's up everyone, year 12 is a pretty darn hard year so far I am struggling to keep up with the work. Not sure about other schools, but my school sets a lot of homework.
Chemistry: Prac write up and chapter 2 of the Heinemann chemistry textbook (pretty chill so far).
Biology: OMG chapter 4a to 4d on edrolo plus a practice exam that my teacher gave us. Not sure about you guys, but I don't seem to like edrolo much.
English: Got an essay to do from tutor, but other than that school has not set too much homework.
Further math: pretty easy so far, but a few chapters to do, but that is it.
Economics: Got a little homework, but I am gonna start cracking some practice exams soon.

I only found edrolo useful for methods and almost never used it for anything else. Wish you could choose what edrolo courses you want to get.

How useful you find edrolo for a course depends on if you’re finding it hard to grasp a concept and need another person’s way of explaining it, otherwise it’s usually too slow.

Good luck with getting all that homework done.  :)

Just finished my very first economics SAC today, so far it went well. The multiple choice was easy and the short answers were decently hard. I just got my fingers crossed I will ace this SAC or my study score of 40+ dream is over. Got another SAC tomorrow too so yeah it is going to be full on.
