Horror movies, not the horror, I enjoy the thrilling suspense, but what shits me is some of the incredibly dumb and illogical decisions/actions of some characters.

When your group randomly decides to do a call at 9PM on a Sunday night and you have to attend so you don't get marked down in the evaluation : (

This is more "mild irritation at worst" but people spreading the idea that carcinisation (crustaceans evolving into a crab-like form) happens to all animals.  Nah mate, it's a crustacean phenomenon.  Hasn't even happened to all of them.  People aren't going to become crab-like.

A have a really strange feeling of annoyance to the word queue, it is just one letter followed by 4 silent letters.... like wtf? I use the letter q in math more than in real life and its like u couldn't just have q? How the hell r u meant to figure out how to spell it? Ya know when u r in an exam trying to think how to write a word and u try breaking it down, trying that with a 5 letter word that is literally ONE letter!

That sucks  :(
Have you tried flo rinse? I found that it reduced my hayfever symptoms during summer.

Getting beaten to publishing work in the literature. We've been stuck on lockdowns, limiting lab-time and productivity and other people have been able to work uninterrupted.

All these lockdowns makes me very glad that I've finished uni before all this started to happen.

I'm glad I'm in my masters and was able to go in for essential work to complete my research for the last two years. I'm currently teaching first year students (lab demonstrator) and they are all burnt out and demotivated with having to learn 'practicals' online. Last semester was much better being able to teach in person, because the students really enjoyed the hands-on experience and they felt that they were really learning something.

It's quite upsetting to see how some of the students are feeling this semester. They are struggle to make friends, and they feel really disconnected from their peers and aren't getting the proper university experience. I try and put the experiments into context of where it applies in the real world, but even then, its difficult to get them to stay engaged.
