What does an analyse question need in legal?

Hey!
When a question says analyse, you need to take the more complex feature, issue or concept you are given and break it down into smaller parts to show how these parts relate to one another.
[^ Paraphrased from Justice & Outcomes VCE Legal Studies 3 & 4, p.14.]
An example of this is when you're given a case study with lots of information. A question might ask you to analyse the dispute resolution the parties have used, and you would refer to the case study in specific points, giving examples of how the case study fulfills ____.
Hope this helps. <3

It means to have an opinion in response to the question, and to talk about arguments for and against that opinion (in any weighting you like).
