You don't get the odd number.

You get an even number. The odd number just separates bands of people (of course, those that are contentious and double-marked may get odd numbers).
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

i think i got around 34-36 range after checking the solutions on itute.
mistakes at
6a. -1mark
b. -1mark
8b. -1 or -2marks
11b. -1mark

Unsure:
3.a. -1 mark? I assumed some numbers on the graph. i.e. the quadratic going through (0,-2) and the line's end point were at (3,1) and (0,2) and did the derivate graph from there by working out their equations.

I think it was bad to assume those numbers as the graph arn't drawn to scale. but the shape of my derivate graphs were correct. Showed the open-circles, but i didn't draw the arrows. Hopefully, iy was still alrite.

I wonder ... If I forgot the +2 in question 9a, hence having the answer y=-2x, do you think I would get the marks for correct method in part b?

I know I won't get the mark for the correct answer, but I did the right thing with the answer I had in part a, and it is worth 2 or three marks ...

you get consequential marks if you dont make the question 'easier' in the first part, thats what ive been told.

but imo you should still get full marks for the second part becuase a +2 isnt really much..

I hope I get some marks for it...

It was an anti-dif question though so the +2 that i forgot made my final answer wrong. So I will lose one mark for not stating the correct answer.

Yeah, I agree :?
I probably got like 35/40 on Exam 1 (just realised I made some very very stupid mistakes, like I always seem to do :()
I'm hoping I can still get a 40 in Methods...

im in a similar situation as you. if the cut off mark for an A+ was like 36/40, then we still have a chance at 40+ ss for mm.
