Is it possible to switch to maths methods mid year 11?

I did advanced maths in year 10 and switched to standard maths after term 1, since then i have been general maths, i didnt really have intrest in doing any things maths related when i grow up, but clearly my interest have been slowly changing, and now i have quite some intrest in doing enginnering. But now its been over a year since i did any method's level maths so im a bit worried if im able to change to methods, even if i can, im also worried that i wont be able to catch up all the work.
Any tips?
Thanks
im a EAL student so forgive me for poor english or something.

Year 12 methods is basically a rehash of year 11 - which means that you'll still see all of the content at least once. You'll still need to play catch up for semester 2 this year, and you'll find yourself struggling at first, but I 100% believe it can be done.

Whether or not your school lets you is another matter entirely, though. You'll have to speak to them about that
