Theory: Caleb doesn't actually have a nephew, and just really likes looking at pictures of animals by himself in his spare time.

I think my display picture answers your question

I finally found a way to stop my safety glasses to stop fogging: a tissue folded up and put up at the top of the mask. <3 (I haven't had time to get anti-fog spray, so other solutions were tried including soapy water haha)

I only just realised why 'positive' is written as +VE and negative as -VE.

I use them myself, but I always wondered where the 'VE' comes from. Always thought they were random letters tbh.

Then I realised - VE is the end of the word positive and negative. The + and - substitute the first few letters.

Oops.  ;D

The more you know- per 100,000 people, Melbourne has 33.9 bookshops. That's a ... lot of bookshops!

Did you know: trying to have 5 different books as current reads is actually rather challenging to manage? 🤔

Well, you see:
- 1x 871 page scifi (that new Christopher Paolini one, am buddy reading)
- 1x library book (The Testaments)
- 1x book for own enjoyment (A Gathering of Shadows)
- 1x book for reviewing purposes (a fantasy book)
- 1x book for binge-reading in order to get to review book sitting on my pile (The Song Rising)

To top it off, I've finished 15 books this month already oops

(You should see the mess that is my goodreads rn lmao)

I tend to try to limit myself to one Kindle book, one audio-book, and one paper book at a time.  And even then it can end up confusing if two of them are a bit too similar...

I really liked The Testaments.  Not necessarily better than The Handmaid's Tale, but a little more cheerful, and I found more moving too.

I love how 99% of the time 'how did x person comment this on social media' is explained just by looking at said commenters profile picture.

When students from high school know what they want to do in the future, why not go to study for that job straightaway? For example, if you want to become a doctor/nurse, then why not go and start studying about medicine?  And for those who want to become architects then why not go and study all about it (math, sketching etc)?

imo School should be about a lot more than just studying and a pipeline for a job (although it might seem that way currently)

Also you would be disadvantaged in a uni course without a decent foundation that you would obtain in highschool by studying a broad range of subjects.
