the vickie roach case was actually an example of getting rights back. prisoners serving a sentence over 3 years don't have the right to vote, then the government decided to change it to all prisoners. but the high court disagreed and stated that a term of imprisonment does not guarantee a crime sufficient enough to lose one of our... civil liberties or rights... i dunno. can't remember exactly. implied rights are entirely up to the discretion of the high court. but there are some instances where parliament can limit rights implied in the constitution

Hey guys, i have attatched a badly photocoppied coppy of the legal studies section of The Age VCE exam guide in case anyone wants them. It comes in two parts, the seccond file has the left half and the first has the right half... sorry about that, my scanner is not big enough :(

Hey guys, there is an obvious lack of legal studies trial exams available to people. I made this one, out of 57 marks, with 12 questions, to take 120 minutes. I'm hoping that within a month i will have forgoten what i put on it and be able to take it myself. in the mean time, feel free to try it out. The number of lines is a bit out, there should be more lines available for most questions, so don't worry if you're using lots of extra space. I did 4 lines per mark, which works for the first half of the exam, but the last half there is far too few lines.

Enjoy guys.
